Binbrook Fair Appreciation Dinner
We had a great fair this year and we would like to thank all of our volunteers who helped make it such a great success. Our way of saying thank you to our volunteers and friends of the Agricultural society is to hold an annual Fair appreciation dinner which usually takes place the 3rd Saturday of November.
Special guests included members from other local fair boards, and local dignitaries!
It's a good night, good food, good people... and our thanks and special awards. Please enjoy the photos below.

(the good food!)

(the special dignitaries!)

Natalie Lopez, once again accepting the award for most points in her division!

Some of the kids from Farmer's Dell, accepting the youth parade entry award.

Arlene and Paul Anderson, accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Drew and Gary, accepting a New Innovations award on behalf of the Hay Maze.

We rounded out the evening with a presentation from Green Venture of Hamilton,
to hopefully give us some ideas on things we can do to achieve our theme for
2009; "Keeping it Green in the Country".
Perhaps next year you will come out and be a volunteer or enter something in the fair. The Binbrook Agricultural Fair has been going strong for 151 years and counting and as our community grows we hope that more people will come out to volunteer and participate in the fair for years to come. Hope to see you here next year!
